CALL PUBLIC HEARING TO ORDER

The Mayor will call the Public Hearing to order for the following:

Land Acknowledgement

As Mayor of the City of Vernon, and in the spirit of this gathering, I recognize the City of Vernon is located in the traditional territory of the Syilx People of the Okanagan Nation.

BYLAWS 6014 (OCP00095) and 6015 (ZON00409)

"6092 Okanagan Landing Road Official Community Plan Amendment Bylaw 6014, 2024" AND "6092 Okanagan Landing Road Zoning Amendment Bylaw 6015, 2024"

Official Community Plan (OCP) Amendment Bylaw 6014 - to redesignate the property to allow for the development of an apartment building.  

Zoning Bylaw Map Amendment Bylaw 6015 - to rezone the property to allow for the development of an apartment building.

Confirmation of Publication

The Corporate Officer will state how the hearing was advertised, as required by legislation.

Bylaw Overview

Administration will provide an overview of "6092 Okanagan Landing Road Official Community Plan Amendment Bylaw 6014, 2024" AND "6092 Okanagan Landing Road Zoning Amendment Bylaw 6015, 2024".

Representation from the Public

Mayor Cumming will call for representation from the public who believe they are affected by "6092 Okanagan Landing Road Zoning Amendment Bylaw 6015, 2024" AND "6092 Okanagan Landing Road Zoning Amendment Bylaw 6015, 2024".
